A Message From Paul Forbes

Owner & CEO

“It’s really our passion to help small businesses, locally, look their best and make a statement with their signage, and to do it right here in Mansfield, Ohio,” says Paul Forbes, Owner of Heartland Design Concepts.

Paul’s background is in engineering, a trade he continues to instill in Heartland Design. “It’s really exciting for me,” Paul adds. “We can create designs and we can develop concepts that just aren’t available elsewhere.”

Heartland Design brings those cost-effective creations to a wide array of companies. From hospitals to business startups to real estate offices, Paul is proud of the region’s growth, as well as Heartland Design’s diverse client list, which continues to flourish.

Exclusivity is something Heartland Design has honed in on in recent years. By accumulating high-quality machinery, like UV printers, roll-to-roll printers, a large-format heat press, and one of the largest format precision lasers in the area, Paul and the team have moved beyond the area to help businesses grow. “We are doing both the designs and manufacturing right here in Mansfield, in this facility, and we have total control” Paul adds. “It gives us better quality. It gives us more creative designs and it gives us better turnaround. By not having another person or another company in the supply chain, our costs are more effective.”

“We’re excited about the possibility of bringing a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing of business signage and décor to Richland County, Central Ohio and beyond. Just like countless other businesses in Richland County, Paul and his family are doing it together, bringing a strong quality and trust to the table when working with clients. “Being from the local area and having grown up here, it’s a real honor to service local businesses,” Paul adds.

“We are also a small business. I think it’s important that people understand we are not a big corporate entity from somewhere out of state. We are locally-owned. We are a family business. We work one-on-one with customers, and it’s just a real privilege to be able to do that.”
